Left in the Model Village.

I read this book after finding it while on holiday near the Cotswolds. It was a lovely find! I hadn't heard of BookCrossing before. I read the book, one I'd read many years ago, and enjoyed it again for its literary style and psychological perceptiveness. Human nature really doesn't change very much - the characters seem real and believable and sympathetic. The underlying issues of money, class and women's lack of choice struck me quite forcefully.
I left the book in the garden of St Bridget's Church in Eaglesham. I'm not a parishioner but it's a lovely, peaceful place. Hopefully, someone will find it soon.
