A classic novel. I'm glad I can now say that I've read it, though it wasn't really my cup of tea. Slow in parts, and a bit too melodramatic in others.

Don't let my opinion put you off though - plenty of readers have enjoyed it. Hopefully it will find an appreciative friend out there somewhere.
