Off to my NSSEB partner.
I was first told about this series by an American friend many, many years ago but didn't get to read any until years later. I have dipped into the series here and there and finally decided that I would collect all the books then read them right through from A to Z! I now have the complete set to date and must wait patiently for Ms Grafton write X, Y and Z. So don't expect another JE any time soon, but know that the gift is much appreciated.
I was furious - here I was, after all this time, ready to start reading V (having worked my way right through from A in the last several months) and I couldn't find it! That triggered a major sort-out and tidy-up ... and I then spotted the book under the shelves, where I could have found it without too much effort if I'd looked in the right place! Clearing up has got to be a good thing, though, and I'm delighted to be nearing the end of this series and having very few books gifted by BCers still to read. This is another fat one with over 30 chapters, so it will take about 3 weeks to read it, but I'm starting to-day.
Very mixed feelings about this one. I quite enjoyed the parts about Kinsey and all her doings but couldn't get interested in all the long stuff about Dante and his activities.
Will be sending this one on its way to its next reader as soon as I finish W.

One of the last 4 (hard copy versions) of the series on its way to the other Sue Grafton marathoner who has been following me through the alphabet.

Thank you so much for sending this and the rest of the series. You have been very generous. I look forward to reading it, however I may be some time!
