Ei meinannut J. K. Rowlingin nimi mennä millään perille. Rautalangasta piti melkein vääntää. Taisi olla merkki siitä, että oli hyvä bc-miitti, kun oli pää sekaisin kaikesta, uusista kirjoista, uusista ihmisistä :) Kiitos!

This was a detective story absolutely to my taste. I hope she writes many more books of Cormoran's investigations (I know there is already one that has been published ans it's already in my wishlist).

With this book I participate in Finnish forum in the challenge Perehdy ammattiin lukemalla (learn about a profession by reading a book).

First, there is a profession of private investigator. I learned, that you can help the witness to remember more by questioning him/her in the precise place, where the thing you are investigating has happened (p. 283).

Second, there is a profession of a secretary of private investigator. The book reminds well that the most interesting secretary jobs aren't necessarily those that are best paid.

The front cover didn't wake my interest at all. Then I heard that Robert Galbraith is J.K. Rowling and realized that this book would suit perfectly Popsugar reading challenge. And I'm really glad that I took this book from my bookshelf and read it! Well, the conclusion of the case wasn't very good, but I enjoyed reading about Cormoran and Robin.
