From amazon; Mackenzie Allen Phillips's youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation, and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later, in this midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change his life forever.

I have had this book for along time and started it a few times but had a hard time getting I to it....so much for it being the best book ever read.....so I ordered the audio book from the library and listened to it.
It was an interesting faith book.

I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.
Picked up this book at the September meeting at Cravings.
Hmm - disturbing book. In the middle, when he is struggling with his emotions, I was relating to some of the feelings I have been having. I also struggled a bit with the book at times. It certainly is a nice image of God.
I am returning this to the September meeting at Cravings.
