Translated from the French by Merle S. Haas: this elderly hardcover is a bit delicate, but still readable - IF you can read script. Since "joined-up writing" isn't officially taught any more, that might make it a harder sell.

I remember the illustrations from reading this multiple times as a child - what fun!
