And her lucky Not So Secret Easter Bunny partner was me!

Thank you very much, RedDahlia, for this Wished for book - and for all the other goodies. I used to live in the Lake District and wish I did still so I love to read books which are set there, and crime stories are my favourite genre.

Oh dear:-( I should have journalled this ages ago. It is quite some time since I read it and then passed it on to my sister who has also read and enjoyed it and it is now released.

It was rather an unusual crime story in that the policeman knew from very early on who had committed the crime and most of the book deals with how he proved his suspicions. I don't know whether some of his methods were allowable in the times when this story was set, but they certainly aren't nowadays! For a short while I thought I wasn't going to enjoy the book as I wasn't particularly enthused about the delivery of petrol, but I soon got hooked.
