Based on the Emmy Award–winning YouTube series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
Twenty‑four‑year‑old grad student Lizzie Bennet is saddled with student loan debt and still living at home along with her two sisters—beautiful Jane and reckless Lydia. When she records her reflections on life for her thesis project and posts them on YouTube, she has no idea The Lizzie Bennet Diaries will soon take on a life of their own, turning the Bennet sisters into internet celebrities seemingly overnight.
When rich and handsome Bing Lee comes to town, along with his stuck‑up friend William Darcy, things really start to get interesting for the Bennets—and for Lizzie’s viewers. But not everything happens on‑screen. Lucky for us, Lizzie has a secret diary.
The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet takes readers deep inside Lizzie’s world and well beyond the confines of her camera—from the wedding where she first meets William Darcy to the local hangout of Carter’s bar, and much more. Lizzie’s private musings are filled with revealing details about the Bennet household, including her growing suspicions about her parents’ unstable financial situation, her sister’s budding relationship with Bing Lee, the perils of her unexpected fame, and her uncertainty over her future—and whom she wants to share it with.
Featuring plenty of fresh twists to delight fans and new readers alike, The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet expands on the web series phenomenon that captivated a generation and reimagines the Pride and Prejudice story like never before.

My contribution to the "Everyone has a story" meeting. I loved this webseries and the book is an awesome continuation of the series! There is so much more that never made it on screen that come into the book, so it's not just a re telling of ther series.

This was every bit as much fun as watching the vlog series! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Releasing at the October meet-up of Calgary BookCrossers, held at Cravings Market Restaurant.
Picked up at get together!
I really enjoyed this. I've seen most of the youtube videos when they were being made, so it was nice to revisit those memories while at the same time getting a good "behind the scenes" view of the story. It also let some of the more serious stuff/internal conflicts be shown.
Thanks for the fun read!

Taken to get together
Picked up at the June BookCrossing meeting. We had 12 BookCrossers attend, including one new member.
This was a fun novel. I had seen the online videos and enjoyed them so was interested in how this fit in. What I really liked about this was that it was not just a rehash of the videos, it had new content. I had to re-watch the videos and blame them for being so tired (was up way too late).

Safely in my hands.
This was a cute book. I didn’t know about the you tube videos so just read the book. I really liked all the characters, even the crazy mother.
I used this book for square 16, more than 2 people on the sticky...I think it was meant to mean 2 people waiting to read it, but there were more than 2 who had read it!

I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.
Picked up from the July Calgary BookCrossing Meeting.
I loved this! I thoroughly enjoyed the modern day take on Pride and Prejudice. I laughed out loud when I got to the part where Kitty Bennet was revealed to be a cat and Mary Bennet an always forgotten cousin, because both of those characters in the original were so insignificant. There were quite a few witty references to the original book like that. I liked this so much I went to check out the YouTube videos and ended up binge watching all 100 episodes in the span of a couple of days and one sleepless night.
I am bringing this book to the September Calgary Bookcrossing Meeting.
Picked this up at the September meetup at Cravings. Excellent turnout!!
I listened to this book and really enjoyed it. I would be listening and caught up in the story when all of a sudden, I would realize - ooo another connection to the original book. Fun way it s all incorporated.
I am bringing this to the January meetup at Cravings to pass on to the next reader.
Picked up at the monthly Book Crossing meeting at Cravings Market Restaurant
I enjoyed this book more than I anticipated. Honestly it’s just some fun, cute, chicklit. It’s fun that you can watch the videos on YouTube as well (haven’t finish those yet... it take me a while to get through YouTube videos lol)
Bringing this book to the monthly Book Crossing Meeting at Cravings Market Restaurant.
