Danielle Steele has a strange style. She tells, not shows. She spends about the first quarter of the book telling us, over and over again, how awful Sarah's relationship is. Eventually Sarah gets rid of the relationship and the real book begins, which is a lot more enjoyable. If you can get through the repetition, the rest of the story is a nice, romantic read.
