Picked up at the Spring Whale of a Sale (Friends of Jefferson County Library book sale) for a bookbox I am putting together for October (a box of Blood)

After talking about being in Yellowstone with a friend, and telling her I released a Nevada Barr book on the trip, she told me she LOVED this book. She read it in about 5 days. This is HUGE for this particular person, because she has a tough time just sitting down to read...often it takes her months were I only took days to read a book. So...with that ringing endorsement, this has been pulled from the AVL pile to go to my Mt TBR...which makes this book #801 (I just whittled it down to 800...and...sigh)

This is the first Anna Pigeon story I have read..it was a recommendation from a friend. I liked the story. The mystery had enough twists to keep me interested, even if I figured out some of it before the end (that means the author left enough clues). I didn't feel lost even though this is the 9th book in the series. I would rec it to anyone who is a fan of mysteries, and enjoys the back drop of the National Parks.

Congratulations!! You have found a rare and unique gift, a travelling book!!


While it is possible I have read and given my thoughts on this book, it is more likely it is a book I found/purchased specifically to send out into the world!
