Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25

Bought for Mr BK2B at the spring Friends of the Library booksale and now ready for release.
When I first picked this up from the FOL booksale, I thought that it was an adult novel. It's not, but it's still pretty good. I think it would likely appeal more to guys but there's plenty to like even for the girls. The story revolves around Michael, a slightly nerdy guy who has Tourette's and a few more exotic traits - like being able to shock people with electricity. There's an interesting cast of characters - Ostin (the guy's mother couldn't spell Austin as in Texas correctly), Michael's friend; Taylor, the cute cheerleader with a secret of her own; and some dastardly bad guys. It could have come off as cliche but mostly doesn't. There's lots of action and the staccato chapters somewhat remind me of James Patterson. Overall, pretty good.
Sending in a box of books as a RABCK - need to move these on.
Looks really good! In the box of books from bkind2books. Thank you so much for sharing!
