Here is some extra information on this book!
This book is one of many books from a skip, located some time in the Summer of 2014 outside a house at the Harlingerstreetroad, in the city of Leeuwarden.
The books where 'leftovers' from the house clearing after the death of an elderly couple of man and wife. The man had been a teacher at the local Gymnasium for many years.
He long predeceased his wife. She died in 2014.
Apparently the books in the skip now seemed not 'fit' for sale at second hand store's or antiquarian bookshops?!
Luckily most books have been saved by passers by, neighbours, BookCrossers and others.
I spent some hours in and near the skip to save books and
managed to save about 600 books for BookCrossing!

Taken home by me, because I really fancy a good thriller or detective story. Apart from that I'm a big fan of Ken Follett.

This one I had not yet read, and now I have the opportunity. I intended to take this book with me to Oxford, but I won't be able to read it before I leave, so this one stays with me for a while.

At this point in time I'm having a serious reading dip and I can't seem to get any substantial reading done. My head just won't cooperate.
That is not this books fault, or of it's new reader's, so this book will travel on unread. Maybe I'll get a second chance, maybe not.

Well, this is certainly different from what I guessed from the first page haha. I don't think it is something I would usually read, but it's good to try new things. :)
