5/10/04 update - finished this last night. I liked this book a lot, but I have one complaint - this style of writing non-fiction books, where the story starts out and then the author digresses to give background info - is getting to me! I knew how this one turned out (I vividly remember the footage of the pick-ups), and I love all of the additional information, but....sheesh! We hear about the accidents in the first few pages of the book, but don't get back to the guys floating around in the water until ~page 150!!!! Maybe I just like a bit more "narrative flow". And, if you didn't know what was going to happen, it could be incredibly annoying. Well, probably just cranky old me :)
But, again - I did like this (aside from my one gripe)- thanks for sharing!
5/19/04 - mailed to Mom-of-one.
