This has been 5 years in my self ... it took so long to read all the previous in the series ( + hundreds of other books) - but now I'm here! A really good one! I like all the Banks-books, but of course some are better than others - this goes easily to the better side!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
To em64 next!
Thank you for the book, Chania! Haven't read Alan Banks books for a while so it will be nice to have a chance to re-acquaint with him again.
From the back cover:
" If DCI Alan Banks had been in his office when his old neighbour came calling, perhaps it would have turned out differently. Perhaps an innocent man would still be alive. And perhaps Banks's daughter wouldn't be on the run with a wanted man. But Banks is on holiday, blissfully unaware of the terrible chain of events set in motion bu the discovery of a loaded gun in a young woman's bedroom, and his daughter's involvement with the ultimate bad boy."
I wasn't that impressed with previous installment in the Banks series so I was a bit hesitant with this one at first. And the beginning was a bit slow, it really got going after Banks returned home from his holiday. I have seen the whole Banks tv series and for some reason this episode with the bad boy is the only one I remember well.
