Please, if you have not already done so, read A Dog's Purpose first! There are many things that are referred back to this book. And you won't be sorry you read it.

That said, I loved A Dog's Purpose! I was so emotionally involved, laughing and crying several times. I read that almost a year ago and couldn't bring myself to read the sequel, (that I bought at the same time!) so I was glad when I saw you wanted it.

A Dog's Journey begins at the same spot the first book leaves off. However, this book isn't so much about the dog, as it is a girl named Clarity (CJ). It becomes the dogs job to protect CJ throughout her really crummy life. The first few pages and the last few pages were tear jerkers for me, otherwise I made it through this book without the intensity of the other one.

Loved them both, hope you enjoy it!
