This is an entertaining book about two best friends who love to court danger and their love for the same woman. The book deals with loyalty, love, and friendship while it explores many of the world crises along the way.

Got this book from iagal at the Des Moines Meetup in January. Excellent book!!! I enjoyed reading about the smoke jumpers parachuting into a fire and helping to put it out. The storyline of two best friends in love with the same women and how a tradegy affects their lives was very moving. I would highly recommend this book to others!!!
Sending this book out as part of an informal book club that is circulating around bookcrossings!! Happy reading!!!
Thank You!!!!! There's nothing like finding an unexpected book waiting for you when you get home. The Smoke Jumper looks lovely. I look forward to reading it.
The Smoke Jumper marked the end of my free J-Term reading time. I read almost 20 books during my winter break- most of them BC books- and now I'm back into the midst of things here at school. It was a good book to read- I loved the characters, especially Skye (SPOILER) and was very disappointed when she did not survive the fire. I also liked how Connor, Julia and Amy met again in Africa- very cinematic like the back cover says. I must say though, I did think the book dragged on a bit. A few hundred pages could have been chunked off and everything would have worked out fine. But it was a great read, and I thank everyone for the chance to read it.
