A day in the life of a UK hospital. I'm sure this has been waiting for six years or so to be read.

Definitely worth the read. Like a raunchy er version of the show Scrubs. And it's especially poignant during this pandemic, showing that despite the foibles of individual medical staff, when it comes to healing people they are 100% professional.

As an American visiting Manchester for the week to help a local hospital transition to a new medical record-keeping software system, it felt especially serendipitous to find this book on my walk around the city after watching the Queen's funeral. Extra funny, perhaps, is the fact that my specialty is the A&E department- these stories compliment my work experiences uncannily!!
