I absolutely loved this book. Even though it comes in over 800 pages, it read very quickly.

A great thriller with a science fiction twist. And a romance what won't be forgotten in a long time.

From Amazon:

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? Stephen King’s heart-stoppingly dramatic new novel is about a man who travels back in time to prevent the JFK assassination—a thousand page tour de force.

This is a book I've been wanting to read so thrilled to be able to get it from bookcrossing. Looking forward to reading it.

A great book and not the typical Stephen King book I remember reading in my younger days. The story involves time travel and it's consequences, the past does not want to be changed. The romance between Sadie and Jake(George) was well developed and it's bittersweet ending was satisfying. Although over 800 pages it is an easy read and I got caught up in it right off the bat.

This book is one of the best time travel/alternate history books I have read. I don't read a lot of Stephen King, but when I do the first thing I think is "Damn!! This man can write!!". The narrative sucked me in and didn't drop me once through the 842 pages. The best part of this book is the characters - Stephen King doesn't write characters, he creates people.
Highly recommended.

Picked up at coffee!

Definitely not what I was expecting - my interest started to wane a bit after the first 100 pages, but then it picked right up again and the book did not disappoint at all. It was nice to how he chose to live is life back in the 1950s/60s, and I liked the different views of society it covered and the people he met. I also liked the idea of harmonics. I found the ending really sweet.

Thanks for the great read!

We had an outdoor meetup at my daughter's yard. A little chilly, but the rain held off for us. This was one of the books I brought home. This is my first Stephen King book.

This is my first ever Stephen King novel and I liked it! Time travel and how things are affected. Interesting topics.

Damn, this is a big book, but I have always wanted to read it.
Last weekend, I went to an informal meetup where some Calgary Bookcrossers were able to get together and exchange our books. I brought back many of my books to be wild released and picked up a couple new books to add to my TBR Mountain Range.
Great to see you and have coffee together.
