The Professor and the Madman

Interesting look at one of the most prolific contributors to the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary, who also just happened to be a longtime inmate of of an insane asylum. At times I felt that the story was a bit slight to fill a whole volume and there was a fair amount of padding to flesh out the narrative, but it's still an unusual enough story to make for a pretty good read.

Happy reading!
Picked this up a week ago at our Harbord House BC Meetup. Picked it up because I was fascinated by this story when told to me during a "London Walks" walking tour.
Fascinating story! Will bring this back to the next Bookcrossing Meeetup.
