Although it's supposedly a novel, it's really a collection of short stories, tied together with a weak overarching storyline. The stories aren't bad, but for a writer who supposedly writes strong women characters, it's noticeable how almost all of her characters' stories revolve around men...

The sort of book that's fun to read on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's divided into a number of stories, which makes it easy to put down at the end of each chapter.

found in the undercroft of the university of canterbury outside the shilling club as soon as i saw it i knew it was a book crossing book and i was so happy because as many years as i have been on here i have yet to find a book till now :)
