One of the better Scandi crime novels I've read recently. Though rural Sweden sounds a grim place to be in mid-winter!

Norwegian murder thriller, set in the middle of winter....... the bloodless corpse of a mentally disabled male is found naked and hanging in a tree on the edge of a copse..... and the Police discover he is related to a trio of thug ish and violent brothers whose sister was recently raped (and since institutionalised) in the nearby forest. What they don't know is there is another half brother that their mother has chosen not to tell them about..... but is he involved in the murder and rape? And will HE come out of it alive....?
