The book of the film.
This is going in the UK mystery/thriller bookbox.

I have just received this in the UK mystery bookbox set up by loopy1.
I have read this before - it is a brilliant, scary book! I am registering this mainly to find out what happens to the book after it leaves me. If anybody would like this book while it is in my custody, it will be available for trade (I will replace it with an equivalent mystery book in the box if that should happen).

When I read the book, I was so fascinated and horrified at the same time by Jame Gumb, who was so much scarier than in the movie, IMHO.
Anyway, I loved it and if there is someone out there who hasn't read it yet, I recommend to give it a go, absolutely.
Back in the UK mystery/thriller book box where I found it, and on its way to Chelseagirl soon :-)

I'm being a bit squeamish about this one, and leaving it in the mystery/thriller bookbox. I've also avoided the film, I'm afraid!
This one travelled all the way round in the box and back to me, so it's up for grabs.
Release planned for Saturday, July 17, 2004 at BCUK 2004 Unconvention @ Apres Bar, Summerrow in Birmingham, England Controlled Releases.
I'll be taking this to the Unconvention to release.

One of many many many books that I caught at the National Meet in Birmingham today - thanks for organising it Steve!
Time to get out the fava beans and the chianti.....
Odd, it's Amarone in the book....
Anyway, I was very impressed with the book. It didn't scare me, but it was in many ways better than the film, and bearing in mind I thought the film was really good.....

Thanks for returning this to me Savager - I will read it one day, I promise - TBR is toppling at the moment!
I really enjoyed this thriller. It wasn't as gory as I expected, having already seen the film, but this was a good thing! I was surprised at how similar the film was to the book, although it is a while since I saw it, so I could be making that up! I am aiming to read Hannibal before the Unconvention next Saturday, so that I can release all three books there, having already read Red Dragon.

This book has been on the shelves at the Rose and Crown for far too long. I am therefore going to steal it for my 'You are such an animal' challenge and release it into the wild today.
