A collection of short stories about Inspector Morse.
Marked on the back: promotional copy not for resale.
This is going in the mystery/thriller bookbox to travel around the UK.

I have just received this in the UK mystery bookbox set up by loopy1.

My big confession is that I have never read anything by Colin Dexter and I have never watched Inspector Morse on TV. This is nice and short so perhaps now is the time to dip my toe into that particular water.

I am also registering this book to find out what happens to it once I send the book box out again. If anybody would like this while the book is still in my custody, it will be available for trade (I will replace it with an equivalent mystery book in the box if that should happen).

I browsed through this last night - I am not really into short stories, plus I like my mysteries to be about bloody deaths and not missing bank notes! I will give Morse another try but will wait to read a novel. I will put this back into the book box unless someone claims it first.

Received today - and thank you for the little "extra" - much appreciated!
This selection of short stories will help pass the time on the journey to work.

This collection is definitely not Dexter at his best. But still, it's a very readable selection of mysteries and other crime stories, which as a whole tends to lean more toward the light-hearted rather than the serious.
