Disappointed with this one. Kellerman is my favorite author and this latest installment of the Dr. Delaware series seemed rushed. The conversations were surprisingly unrealistic for Kellerman as were the potential motives he gave. Also seemed to be some weird pro-life agenda going on with the writing. You can't get me to believe that every single cop and forensic scientist in the book would be so horrified working with bones that had no sign of trauma. Come on... Average person finding the bones getting freaked out? Yes. Seasoned professional who sees much worse every day? Nope. And anyone who has kept up with Kellerman knows he went on a creepy Criminal Minds tangent for a while there where his stories got pretty disgusting. And yet you expect me to think baby bones are disgusting? Sorry...we crossed that line years ago, Mr. Kellerman.
Very engaging and hard to put down, but probably the last Kellerman novel I'd recommend to anyone. Any other one of his books is much better!
