From amazon: For Kate Klein, a semi-accidental mother of three, suburbia has been full of unpleasant surprises. Her once-loving husband is hardly ever home. The supermommies on the playground routinely snub her. Her days are spent carpooling and enduring endless games of Candy Land, and at night, most of her orgasms are of the do-it-yourself variety.
When a fellow mother is murdered, Kate finds that the unsolved mystery is the most exciting thing to happen in Upchurch, Connecticut, since her neighbors broke ground for a guesthouse and cracked their septic tank. Even though the local police chief warns her that crime-fighting's a job best left to the professionals, Kate launches an unofficial investigation -- from 8:45 to 11:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, when her kids are in nursery school.

I really enjoy Weiners writing style, characters and sense of humour. Another good book. Spent Easter Sunday reading...how nice!
I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.
Picked this up at the May Calgary Bookcrossing Meeting. Nice to see all of you, I'll try to get this back in something resembling a sensible time frame.
So that was more dramatic than I expected. I really liked the variety of characters, and I liked how no one (except for the actual criminal) was really over victimised. I think, in the end the main theme was probably being compassionate with each other. I liked it.
At long last I am returning this to the Calgary Bookcrossing Group.
Brought back from the special meetup at Cravings.
This was a mystery, a comment about the "perfect lives" that hide so much and how to survive being a stay at home Mom to 3 young children. This book kept me reading and even though I didn't approve of some of her actions, I understood why she did them.
I am taking this to the March meeting at Cravings.
picked up at the March meeting
Murder mystery with humor and family drama thrown in. Nice that the author tied up both murders, even if the second killer was a bit far-fetched.
Picked up at the July meeting!
Returning to the owner.
