Wells uses genetics to show how humans, coming into being Africa, slowly started to settle all over the world. He traces down the route of this incredible journey, tries to find a connection between genetics and language and explains what happened, when the Neanderthal man met us. He explains the complex procedures behind his research in a simple way, describes how globalization makes his work complicated but most important: he shows, that we are not so different after all.
