my cat is named 'Curdle' after this book :D I enjoyed it when i read it, and the illustrations are cool - so I couldn't say no to getting this when I saw it on my birthday buddies wishlist :D

I read this sometime last year - my first China Mieville, and I must say it didn't disappoint. I don't remember the finer details right now, but it was thoroughly entertaining...a total page-turner.
