The Da Vinci Code

I really enjoyed this book. Someone told me that I should read Angels and Demons first, by this same author in order to really enjoy this one. I could not disagree more. In Angels and Demons we are introduced to Robert Langdon. In that book he is an Indianna Jones type action hero. (It's a lot of fun by the way). But you certainly don't need to read it to understand and enjoy The Da Vinci Code.
In The Da Vinci Code there is less action and more "history". It's still a suspense thriller, It starts off with 4 murders and the murderer is now after Robert and his new friend. This book is filled with ancient secret societies and ancient controversies. Fun to think about.
This book is well written and intelligent and suspenseful all at the same time.

I'm placing this book in Foovay's mystery bookbox today. Will mail it off in a week. I hope whoever reads this book next enjoys it as much as I did.
