I made a valiant effort to read this book but did not enjoy it, so I finally stopped reading it. I know many people who love books written by Nicholas Sparks. They are just not my cup of tea.

I like books by this author and this one was no exception. I did wonder though how accurate the "life after a heart transplant" was. Knowing someone whose daughter recently had a heart transplant, I heard things from them that didn't jive with the book.
