I love Historical Novels and this took me to a later period than I've so far explored. It's the story of Katherine Parr, King Henry VIII's sixth and last wife, and what happens to her after Henry dies. It's told from the point of view of the widowed Catherine Duchess of Suffolk, which was even more interesting to me because I only previously knew her as the 14-year-old trophy wife of Charles Brandon, one of Henry VIII's best friends. Kate and Cathy are best friends, but Cathy betrays Kate and is tortured by whether Kate ever found out.
