Last week I found a box in my storage closet and when I opened it, there were all kinds of odds and sods - but also - 6 bookcrossing books that I hadn't read yet. It was a bit like Christmas :) I am sorry it took so long for me re-find this book but its next up on TBR, so I'll journal again soon.

Snowyalberta - it is a very snowy day here today in Hamilton, ON. We got about a foot of snow overnight on top of the snow we had last week - that I had only just dug out the driveway and now the plows have plowed me in again so I can spend the weekend reading with no guilt about having to go out :) I hope you are keeping well :)

I really enjoyed this novel. I liked the sections alternating between the war time and the present (late 1990's) and I liked the voices of Anna and Trudy. My heart broke for both of them, albeit for different reasons. I liked the way the story ended in a neat little bow and I liked how it reinforces that life is cyclical.
