saw the movie because Lehane is the best, but while the movie was very good, it didn't seem to be one of his best. Now to see how the book stands up. Taking it with me to Oz.
Did. And another excellent Lehane! I was very glad that it'd been a while since I'd seen the movie and so the details were pretty fuzzy. Man, it sure got gritty at the end there.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Gave it to Sergio Libertino, my driver who took me to the antipode of La Crosse, Wis USA on Cape Leeuwin today. Great guy! Highly recommend if you need some travel transport in the Perth area.
I was working valet one night at the Crown Casino and saw the book in one of doorman's drawers. I had the graveyard the next 2 nights so I decided to start it. Great book, highly recommend, I'll be giving it to someone to pass on for sure.
