From the cover:
You're in your first proper job, working for the boss from hell who makes you colour-coordinate folders. So one day you decide to stand up for yourself: you're not a doormat to be trampled over, you're talented, extremely capable, hard-working and... FIRED. With rent and a huge student loan to pay, Girl knows she'll have to find a new job pronto. So she lands herself a top position with My Company (the website for what women want) and also bags herself a boyfriend in the shape of cute games-designer Buster. Her new boss Guy may be slightly unstable but Girl is determined to succeed in her new job, even if it means losing some of her morals along the way.
Just looking at the cover I was expecting light chick-lit but turns out, this was quite a sharp satire into the modern work environment and the rather distorted reality we live in. Absurd in many places yet in many ways so very true.
