This just arrived in the mail today from Lizabeth86 and her mother. Thank you again for seeing my post and RABACKing this book to me. I have 2 books to finish: "Over the Water" by Maude Casey and sent to me by GuinevereII, and "Round Ireland with a Fridge" by Tony Hawks and sent to me by skcreader...then I can start this one.
Thank you, again, for your kindness!

I do want to read this book, and I had signed up for a bookray on the prequel, Angela's Ashes, which, for obvious reasons, I wanted to read first. I'm not sure if that bookring is stalled, but I'm going to just check that book out from the library soon, so that I can get on to reading 'Tis, and then pass it along to another bookcroser, because I feel bad that it is doing nothing but sit on my shelf gathering dust right now, when Lizabeth86 was kind enough to RABACK this book to me. I want this book to continue traveling, as it was meant to be.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I did finally read this book, quite a few years ago. "Angela's Ashes" (the first book in Frank McCourt's memoirs) was a devastatingly sad - yet at times, surprisingly funny - book. In "'Tis," Frank McCourt continued his memoirs past his childhood into his young adulthood as an immigrant in the United States. His outlook on life - his unrelenting sense of humor - was inspirational. I wish I recalled more of the details of this tale, and debated upon giving this book a reread, but my mountain of books still waiting to be read is massive, and I know I've held onto this particular book for far too long already. It's time for this particular book to continue it's journey.
