I don't know whether I've ever read anything by Penelope Fitzgerald, if I have then it was a long time ago, and I don't recognise this title, so I was happy to receive it from you, thank you very much!

A strange novel, peopled with strange characters doing strange things, having strange conversations, thinking strange thoughts - or not, as the case may be ....
It's set in and around a university college in Cambridge in the early years of the 20th century!
