This is the best comedy about the end of the world that I have ever read. If you are an American, do not worry: there are footnotes that explain some of the jokes for you. Oh, and the scene with the Sergeant and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is taking the mick out of you. We know you all talk like that.

The interplay between Crowley and Aziraphale is beautifully done and the book's full of great ideas. The whole thing about the M25 is probably true.

There is a serious side to the book though. I suppose if it's about anything it would be the blurred line between good and evil and how easy it is for both states to become compromised.
