How many people have invested the time, money, and energy in achieving the goal of a medical or legal degree only to discover that it's not the wonderful life that was promised? David Zinc in this Grisham story is one such. He's five years into a career as a securities specialist making truly big bucks but too tired at the end of the day to do anything other than sleep. One day he snaps, goes on a bender and finds himself at the end of it in the office of a pair of "two bit ambulance chasers." He determines to join this firm (whether they want him or not) and proceeds to develop a whole new life for himself, his wife, and the partners (to say nothing of the dog). It's a wild ride and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I only wish this sort of "snap" could work out well for everyone.

Found this in a shopping cart at my local grocery store recently...Buy-Low at Broadway & Kingsway (December 2013). It had a bookcrossing number on it, and a message that "i'm Free' and not lost on the front cover, but no 'tag' as to what one should do to record receiving it.

However, I've now added a bookcrossing label to it, given it to my granddaughter to read and now am releasing it again into the wild again.
