For fans! Easier to read if you have seen, e.g. the movie The wrong trousers.

Yes, Wrong trousers is one of my favourites, I love it :)! This book looks so much fun, so I had to grab this along from today´s bc-meeting . Thank you sumako!
This book was quite a fun read even though reading it took a long time! I´m not a big fan of comics and in this book the handwriting of Wallace was a bit hard to read, at least in the beginning. So I started reading it right after the bc-meeting I got it from, but then the book was left aside and just got it finished last night, as I tagged someone with this book in a Wishlist-tag... But that´s how I got it read eventually! And like sumako said, knowing Wallace and Gromit and their adventures from the animations is sure a big help in understanding this diary.

If you're bored of Aardman, you're bored of life. The diary is a charming one, it combines all the major storylines nicely.
I absolutely love Gromit, and he has the best New Year's resolution: Be more patient with dumb humans.

Released 3 yrs ago (8/26/2020 UTC) at The Bremen Town Musicians in Rīga, Rīga Latvia
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Happy travels little book. This is a part of pippis' statue release challenge in summer 2020.
"Three legendary musicians play their music on Skārņu Street between St. Peter's Church and the Convent Yard: a donkey, a dog, a cat and a cockerel standing on each other's backs. You can see surprise in the animals' eyes, but they are not staring at the robbers' feast; they are peering through the Iron Curtain!
The political monument "Bremen Town Musicians" was created by Bremen artist Krista Baumgaertel. The sculpture is based on a fairy tail by the Brothers Grimm, but created with a political subtext as it was inspired by Mikhail Gorbachev's perestroika. The sculpture, a gift from Riga's sister city Bremen, was made in 1990. It's a humorous approach towards previous political stereotypes. The bronze figures are not staring through the window at the robbers' feast at a table full of drinks and food; they are peering through the Iron Curtain on a completely new world where they had thought to find a bone or a piece of meat. Come see the musicians - an ironic view at sudden independence."

The book spent the night in Riga at the Bremen Musicians statue that my mum was really excited to visit on our trip to Riga. The statue was the only thing she wanted to see, and after an hour of no internet or map we found the statue - and this book! For now the book is sitting on my lap while we drive home to Estonia, Tartu, where we will read it and then release it back into the wild. Thank you, kind people!
