Echo Burning
2 journalers for this copy...
(24/06/14) After a brief intermission as a house-owning boyfriend domiciled in Manhattan, Reacher is back on the road! That said, this is the least punchy of his books so far, too slow a build-up, and too many implausible circumstances in the set-up. The star (lone star!) is undoubtedly the hot and arid Texan desert, building up to a metaphorical and an actual storm. I love that after saving the girl(s), killing the bad guys and - by the way - solving 50(!) historical murders, Reacher just walks off. Way to go hombre. Looking forward to no.6 already :)
