when I picked this up, I didn't realize that it was a sequel. Darn! But who can resist a Bernese Mountain dog, or even a story about one?
Not much happens in this book. The main character is encouraged by her teacher to write “what she knows” I.e about her own life. Which is pretty common advice. The problem is, most lives are pretty mundane to read about. Case in point, this book.
