In the 1950's, white journalist John Howard Griffin, darkened his skin to a dark brown by using a medication and lived as an unemployed black man. This book is his story of how his life changed living in the segregated deep South. I read this book as a teenager living in an all white neighborhood. It opened my eyes to the horrors of racism in America and a way of life I knew nothing about.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I first read this book while in high school in the 1960's. I recently came across this copy in a book resale shop and decided to read it again. I'm now ready to release it into the wild for someone else to read.
