The first in the Daisy Dalrymple series, and it's a little more ponderous than the later ones. Still, the basic ingredients are there - it's 1923 and the Hon. Daisy Dalrymple has decided to make a living rather than be dependent on relatives. But a body has appeared, and a handsome detective comes to investigate...fun all the way, and I recommend the series.
