Gun Monkeys is one part suspense, one part hard-boiled, and one part wacky hijinks. It's about Charlie Swift, a hired-gun loyal to the mob boss who's been like a father to him. When some other boss decides to take over, all hell breaks loose. Charlie's a likable character, which is kind of unusual, since he seems to kill a lot of people in this book. He finds himself in some pretty strange situations, even for someone with a job like his.

If you're a fan of any of the authors above, I suggest checking this out. It was pretty violent in some places, but I did enjoy it.
