Good read. Memoir of living through an orthpedic surgical residency at Mayo Clinic. The author is from Chicago, got through medical school and married his sweetheart along the way. Funny stories of residency hell, intermingled with trying to make ends meet for a (fast) growing family on a resident's poverty pay.

Anecdotal, but enjoyable. However, he doesn't like our weather. Was horrified by the cold, and appalled at summer heat and humidity.

Fly far little book!
