Welcome to BookCrossing!
Thanks for taking the time to read my journal. The book you've found is now yours, no strings attached! You can keep it forever or read it and pass it along like I did. It would be great though, if you could take the time to write a quick note so that I know it found a new home. You can stay annoynomous or sign up. It is free to join and no one gets your email address (plus no spam). If you sign up you will also get notifications if anyone else journals about this book, which is exciting. Please consider using Crossing-Guard as your referring member if you do sign up. Who knows how far this book will travel...
This was in box of books that I got from a fellow BookCrosser that needed to down size and didn't have time to register all her books. So I generously got 2 boxes full of books, including this gem.

After reading the back of the book, I just knew that this was a book that I needed to read. What an interesting concept, what would you do if your child wasn't your own.... I enjoyed this, I found myself thinking about what I would have done in her place. September's Calgary meet up is about family, I think this book fits in nicely. Hopefully it will find a new reader there.

Picked up at today's Calgary Bookcrossing meetup. Definitely the book I'm most looking forward to reading from this month.
I really enjoyed this read. It was absorbing. I'm going to have to look up more of her books.
Will be brought to the next Calgary book crossing meetup and handed off .

Taking to the July Meet-up of Calgary BookCrossers, to find a new reader.
Picked up at the meeting yesterday!
Taking to the September "children" themed meeting. This really does make you think how you would possibly react to such a situation.
To the finder:
Calgary has an active group of BookCrossers that meet to swap books and discuss book crossing every second Saturday of the month at 11am at Cravings Market on Fairmount Drive SE. We always love to meet new crossers, so please join us any time you like!

Safely in my hands
I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.
I really enjoyed this book. I had just read the light between the ocean which is a similar theme. Read it real fast!
Sorry out of order notes as was releasing and realized I hadn't journaled.

Grabbed at get together
This book just flew for me! Such an interesting and scary concept. It was full of good twists and great characters.
Thanks for the great read!

Taking to get together
icked this up at today's BookCrossing meeting at Cravings. No back problems carting home books today!!!
My - this book had heartbreak in it. I can't imagine going through what she went through. A moral dilemma! Interesting read and made you think.
I am returning this to the September meeting at Cravings.
Another one that my daughter put her hand out to read.
an interesting story of an adopted young boy who looks very much like a missing boy on a flyer. The story has many twists and turns as it unfolds.
This book sounds really good and interesting! Looking forward to reading it!
Update 10th September 2021: Unfortunately, I couldn't get into the book. I didn't like the characters or the way the story read. I read up to Chapter 10 and decided to move on from the book.
Thank you so much for sharing the book with me, I hope the next reader enjoys it more than I did.
