Turn of Mind
4 journalers for this copy...
Welcome to BookCrossing!
Thanks for taking the time to read my journal. The book you've found is now yours, no strings attached! You can keep it forever or read it and pass it along like I did. It would be great though, if you could take the time to write a quick note so that I know it found a new home. You can stay annoynomous or sign up. It is free to join and no one gets your email address (plus no spam). If you sign up you will also get notifications if anyone else journals about this book, which is exciting. Please consider using Crossing-Guard as your referring member if you do sign up. Who knows how far this book will travel...
This is August's Bookies book. Turns out I can't attend the meeting but as I have already purchased a copy of the book I may as well read it.

I never read this one but am going to purge it as I have too many. My mom is interested so I will give it to her.
Adding this one into the Calgary BookCrossing Book Box. It will hopefully find a new reader.
Grabbed out of the book box circulating around through the Bookcrossing Calgary group. Our way to keep books moving during Covid19
Wow what a book! My mom suffers from dementia, so I found it very interesting, and somewhat helpful to have a peak into a person suffering from this terrible disease.
The story is about a women doctor who suffers from dementia. Her best friend is murdered, and she is a suspect, though she can’t remember her friend is dead, let alone if she did it. The story has no chapters, just bits and pieces as the story unfolds. It is divided into 4 parts. Easy to read, (as in to follow along not so easy a read emotionally, yet I found I read it more as a textbook due to my circumstances). Each part is a significant part in her deterioration.
A book that that all who have, work with or want to learn about dementia should read.

Adding to Calgary book box
Pulled this out of the Travelling Covid Book Box.
Yikes. Really reminded me of Still Alice (funny the authors first name. ) Early onset is such a sad disease. Then there was the mystery part. Hard reading but hard to put down.
Well, I have had to pick a few of my read books to add to this Covid book box.
Selected from Traveling Book Box #1.
Released at the October 2023 meet-up of Calgary BookCrossers, held at Cravings Market Restaurant.
Picked this up at our October meetup at Cravings.
