I really liked this book, the setting, the characters, the mystery, the crime aspect. It's a great debut novel. I just bought her second book at a used bookstore so it will get bookcrossed at some point too!

On one of the picnic tables in the cluster of tables on the south side of the park.
I got to the point where I needed to finish it; there were just too many questionsquestions unanswered, but I didn't like the unsolved children's' disappearances. It was excellent for all the descriptive aspect, but I found that the descriptives didn't register because of the suspence. At a certain point, it was important to me to know what had happened, first, to Katey, then to Peter and Jaimie. The broken romance aspect was added tragedy and it seemed that Rob/Adam had too much tragedy.
It was good, but for above reasons not great.
Still, for a first effort, it was good!
