The Lives of a Cell
Do Fish Drink Water?
Adding:
Spam: A Biography
The Victorian Internet

Update: Since nobody's claimed the Chicken Soup for Cat & Dog Lovers book, I've gone ahead and registered it, and am including it in my choices even though it isn't a biography of things. (If the person who included it did register it, and if they notice this note, please get in touch with me; if I haven't released the book yet I can renumber it.)
My choices include:
Chicken Soup for the Cat & Dog Lover's Soul
Lhasa Apsos
Tools and Techniques (Handyman Club)
Prevention's Disease Fighting Foods
Flags of the World
The Eternal Bliss Machine
Why Do Clocks Run Clockwise?
More of the Straight Dope
Longitude (I see that this one was from MaryZee herself... I'm pleased to see another of her books still traveling)
The Victorian Internet
In Harm's Way
American Vampires
And I'm adding:
The Poisoner's Handbook
The Buried Book
Consider the Fork

London Under
Proust and the Squid
The Billionaire's Vinegar
Heave Ho: My Little Green Book of Seasickness

White Bread
The Big Necessity
Down with the Old Canoe
A Natural History of the Senses
And I left in:
Spam - I managed to read this one while the box was with me; great fun.
The Chair - I was tempted to take this one, too, as the history-of-chairs and the bits about ergonomic seating postures looked interesting, but I figured I'd already snarfed enough from this box!
Update, Jan. 10: the box is on its way to Elizardbreath in Arkansas, tracking # 9114901075742501916686 . Hope it travels safely, and that people enjoy the books!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy! Thanks and happy reading!

I do have a problem... I just said goodbye to some house guests this morning and I myself is packing to go on a trip the day after tomorrow.
