Picked up from the OBCZ, Magdalen St., Norwich. Recommended by a friend-will read asap.

I really enjoyed this book and will look out for the "pre-quel" and any others by this author. It is an amusing account of the life and work of a school inspector who lives in the Yorkshire Dales. It is especially relevant to me as I volunteer as a helper at a local primary school. I loved the descriptions of the nativity play and other productions by the various children being "inspected".

I am reserving the book for my friend Audrey and then will release it once she has read it.

I enjoyed the quote from Lloyd George "The Welsh have a passion for education and the English have no particular objection to it"!

This book will be given to my friend Audrey today. She will then return it to me for re-release as she is a non-bookcrosser with no computer access.
