Emperor: The Death of Kings

Nowhere nearly as good as the first in the series. This was more of a slog to get through than The Two Towers.
I was not happy with this book. I was continuing the series after not being enthralled by the first book, but books 2 & 3 were much worse. I will eventually read 4 & 5 for completionist value, but I'm not looking forward to them. While I don't mind stretching history a bit in historical fiction, I much prefer having something closer to actual history and branching off from there rather than completely changing history.
